ANZAC Day is a treasured tradition for the people of Emerald and the surrounding areas. Each year locals stand side by side to contemplate the sacrifices made by those that served and those who died. This year will be a very different ANZAC Day due to the unprecedented times we find ourselves in. The Emerald RSL has created a DIY ANZAC Day Ceremony for families to run their own dawn services at home at 5:55am on Saturday 25th April. Full details can be found at http://www.emeraldrsl.com.au

ANZAC Day is a very important day on the calendar for all involved with the Emerald RSL. In consultation with the RSL, the Co-Op has decided in the absence of official services on the day, the Mitre 10 store will be opening from 8am to 4pm with part of the proceeds from the day going directly to the Emerald RSL.
