Since its inception in 1945 as a grain store, the Co-op has grown into a thriving hub servicing the hardware and trades needs of residents in the Dandenong Ranges. In 1985 the Co-op joined forces with independent hardware group Mitre 10 which further strengthened the brand and product offering. Today, Emerald Mitre 10 stocks a large range of products across all departments, including paint, power and hand tools, garden supplies, homewares, automotive, outdoor furniture and general hardware.
The paint department is a one stop shop for all paint and painting accessories for any sized project and carries all the known paint brands. The Co-op has built a strong partnership with Haymes, the only truly Australian owned paint company, and is the exclusive stockist of Haymes paints in the Dandenong Ranges.
For power tools, we work alongside Makita, Dewalt, Bosch and Rockwell to provide ranges to cover all needs, and carry a huge range of Sutton and Bosch bits and accessories.
A large selection of CAT workwear and lifestlyle clothing is available instore including boots, jackets, hoodies, pants and more.
